During this time of economic uncertainty Wayne Wright ensures fiscal responsibility and projects what the community “wants and deserves.”

He has upgraded or enhanced our sports and civic facilities all the while preserving the heritage of New Westminster. He has reduced crime in the city, guaranteeing citizens a safer community in which to live and raise a family.

In addition he has created an influx of business with numerous commercial developments, attracting large corporations to this city. By rejuvenating downtown and enhancing the waterfront, he has established New Westminster as no longer just a bedroom community. but as a destination.

Wayne Wright’s strong leadership and knowledge of this city is integral in the future of New Westminster.

Growth in Queensborough

I am excited about Queensborough. This suburb  is becoming the Jewel of New Westminster, as more and more people are discovering! It has huge potential.

The demographic of Queensborough is changing with more young families with children moving there. Whereas before Queensborough was more industrial and rural, it is becoming more residential.

Where else in the lower mainland can you find affordable housing with schools, parks, nature trails, river frontage and extensive arts and other social amenities?

Please be sure to read the City’s document on the historical context of Queensborough – fascinating reading!
