Dear Friends

I am honoured and humbled to have been voted, in a recent community newspaper poll, the most popular New Westminster mayor in living memory. But there are sound reasons for that choice.

During the past six years as mayor, whenever opportunities have presented themselves, I have embraced the changes needed to move our city forward. I urge citizens from all walks of life to remember my open-door policy at City Hall - your input is appreciated.

With the help of my experienced council, we will steer New Westminster through the uncertain times ahead. Our city is in sound financial shape, and I predict that our key projects will go ahead even in tough times because of our stability.

New Westminster is a dynamic city, and citizens are rightfully optimistic about her bright future, and so am I. With your help and support, I will continue to serve this great city.
