Thirty-five years ago, when Wayne Wright first moved with his family to New Westminster, he was struck by the great potential he saw, and fell in love with our unique city with its rich heritage and compelling history and traditions.

Business Man

A businessman and former CEO, Wayne recognized the potential of Columbia Street, and became president of the Downtown BIA. He supported a wide range of local charities over the decades, and was named New Westminster Citizen of the Year 2000.

Vision for our City

Wayne has worked the past 9 years to bring our city forward in all areas. New homes and new businesses help to keep our city strong and growing in a positive and sustainable manner.

With Wayne’s experience and passion for this city, he will continue to work hard to ensure New Westminster remains a place we are all proud to call home.
