Our approach is easy to understand. With the departure of many of our large industries, our tax base shrank and neighbourhoods deteriorated. So the City encourages new developments that promote liveability, stimulate our economy and thus reduce the tax burden, while keeping sustainability and the environment in mind.

In this website we will explain our achievements in more detail so that you can really be proud of our city.

Virtual Open Door

As mayor I have always had an open door policy. For this campaign we have created a virtual open door with the website, blog, Facebook and Twitter. We encourage comments and open discussion. But remember, disagreement is healthy, outright negative comments (“flaming”), not so much.
